A Bet-R Plan Art Show and Concert -- Last Week of Art Show, and Concert Sunday, March 3rd


Cathy Grant shows off 'Last Stand' by Lisa Murphy. Lisa has donated her painting (Acrylic on Board, 16"x19") for a fund-raising raffle. Funds will go to supporting the efforts of the public environmental monitors at the Plan B site. Tickets are $ 5.00. Please contact Cathy Grant at 894-5559 to purchase them. The draw will be at the March 3rd Bet-R Plan Concert [Sunday afternoon 2-5 at the Guild].


The  PEI Citizens Alliance invites you to attend A Bet-R Plan Art Show and Concert,  bringing together visual and performing artists in appreciation for a sustainable future. 
The PEI Citizens Alliance is a non-profit organization that grew out of the Stop Plan B movement. This is a fund-raiser to help defray costs incurred opposing Highway Plan B and to support the citizen environmental monitors.  

The Bet-R Plan Art Show 'Reflecting Nature's Beauty and Honouring Environmental Sustainability' runs from February 7th to March 3rd.  
The exhibit features works by artists Ron Arvidson, Sylvia Ridgway, Bruno Peripoli, 
Shirley Gallant, Susan Christensen, and Monica Lacey. A percentage of sales will be donated to the PEI Citizens Alliance. Raffle tickets will be sold for a Basket of Island Treasures and for Lisa Murphy's painting "Last Stand" . The draw for these items will be held during the Bet-R Plan Concert taking place on March 3.

The Bet-R Plan Concert will be held at The Guild on Sunday, March 3rd from 2- 5 PM.
Hosted by Erskine Smith, performers include Johnny Ross, Fraser McCallum, Bonnie LeClair, The Misled Ukes, Devin Krauskopt, Scott Parsons, Tim Hamming & Madeline Heckbert, Nancy Clement with Graeme Hunter & Margie Carmichael,  Teresa Doyle, and Todd MacLean. 

Admission will be by donation at the door. There will also be Stop Plan B items for sale, 
a 50/50 draw, and a Bake Sale.
